Nguyen Bao Trong (April 1, 1994) is a songwriter, sound engineer, music producer, Zen guide, and podcast host. He is the founder and director of PRSNT, a music production that collaborates with many Vietnamese pop stars and brands.
His music career began in 2013. He has always made music with love, honesty, and passion — and he still does.
Nguyen Bao Trong received a nomination for Song of the Year at the Mai Vang Awards with his song Nhung Ke Mong Mo. The song also contributed to Noo Phuoc Thinh winning the Singer of the Year award at the same ceremony. Additionally, Noo Phuoc Thinh earned another nomination for Music Video of the Year at the Mai Vang Awards.
He is the songwriter behind many original songs performed on some of Vietnam's most popular reality TV shows, such as Anh Trai Say Hi, Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai, Chi Dep Dap Gio Re Song, Rap Viet, The Masked Singer, The Heroes, and more.
Nguyen Bao Trong has created numerous songs that topped the charts, trended on YouTube and TikTok, and garnered millions of views and listeners.
In 2025, Nguyen Bao Trong began sharing what he had gained from his many-year inward journey through the Nguyen Bao Trong Podcast. His heartfelt reflections on meditation, healing, psychology, and the world around us offer a perspective beyond music — yet they also help listeners better understand his music, both now and in the future.
